		<description><![CDATA[I thought that I would love this book, but I could barely generate a will to finish it.  I think that the Jane Eyre connection is incredibly weak.   Perhaps it was a public relations campaign to get some attention for the book.  I must disagree with your assessment.  &quot;The Wide Sargasso Sea&quot; did not emerge as a stand alone success.  The reading experience was was flat.  It failed to engage me on an emotional, psychological, or intellectual level.   I would have a hard time recommending it to anyone.]]></description>
